Something will in fact go here.  As a new immigrant in Israel, learning Hebrew is a formidable but essential barrier to overcome.  Because language is such a joy, it seemed prudent to research the etymology behind the words – to learn the Hebrew whence the Hebrew originated.

Not only does it make the words more permanent and weighty in one’s mind, it brings individual words into full relief revealing a much more nuanced and layered language. In addition, the learned Hebrew words act as mirrors and reflect the mother tonue equivalents in new and unexpected ways.
